PROJECTS
THREE ABSTRACT WORKS
Working on this project I was not sure about anything, I felt lost and did not know which way to go in my art practice.
I could not choose which material I want to use, I knew that I would not do classical painting and I was not ready for doing sculpture either. So I decided to do abstract works out of the found objects.
I experimented with the color, composition and texture. I used glass, wood, canvases, vacuum cleaner pipe, paint cover, foil, polyurethane foam and acrylic paint.
This work was done for the university exhibition. Looking back at it, today I would do it differently. I would try to put these three works together by painting the wall or adding a connecting part to it. I realize that there is no idea behind this project. It is more about having this point at time where I did not know what to do, what I am interested in and which way I want to go.
