EXHIBITIONS
YELLOW EPIDEMIC
A three-day exhibition - a flash of color in a dark basement in the center of Moscow, at the RUIN bar at 3/4 Teatralny proezd. At the exhibition I presented my photographs, paintings and installations. The opening took place on June 7 at 20:00 with atmospheric dj sets.
There was a dress code at the exhibition - elements of yellow clothing. There was also a collection of yellow items that I plan to use to create the installation.

The exhibition took place at Teatralny proezd ¾. At the exhibition I presented my photographs, paintings and installations. In this project I work with the theme of personal space and fencing from the outside world. In my art, I study streets, signs, construction sites and everything that is hidden from people’s eyes in everyday life.
This is a site specific project. When I came to that place I did not know what I was going to do. I knew that I want to work with yellow color, I wanted to bring this color in to permeate this space with it. I made yellow spots around the bar, I played with the space. I turned stairs in the art object by filling the holes with yellow paper, I added texture to this object, changed it.
I used simple shapes of the tables that I covered with yellow fabrique. And showed the canvases with my sketches of unusual objects that I was finding on the streets and documenting. What is more, I made prints of my photography collection of yellow objects that I saw on the streets.
The choice of color and text content of my works is directly related to the idea of attracting attention or, on the contrary, repulsive. For me, yellow is a contradictory color, it is about the sun and fire, which give warmth but can burn.
It was a huge project for me, as I organized everything by myself, I made the liflets and the whole design, I put everything together and made the promotion. I was pleased with the result.
I had an amazing opening show of the exhibition with dj and many people that came. During the opening party we used the projection on the place of dj console and my installations. This approach made the whole exhibition work perfectly together.
